About The Role
Business development is at the forefront of the sales process. Our Business Development Representative (BDR) team serves the crucial functions of qualifying inbound leads, prospecting through accounts and generating pipeline. We are seeking a BDR Team Lead to become a member of Fenergo’s Sales Operation team. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales Strategy & Operations, you will lead, motivate, and direct the activities of the BDR team members to achieve objectives and team goals.
Lead a team of business development representatives (BDRs) ensuring they meet personal and team monthly, quarterly and annual targets
Provide guidance and instruction on a day-to-day basis to ensure team members understand and execute their responsibilities
Hold weekly one-on-one meetings with team members to evaluate progress and discuss professional development
Oversee all aspects of sales pipeline growth and forecast potential blockers
Empower team members to work hard and foster a culture of inclusivity and collaboration
Bachelor's degree in business or 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development in a B2B environment
1-2 years of experience in a team lead or management role. Strong coaching and leadership skills, ability to motivate employees.
Ability to track and forecast sales pipeline and revenue growth
Proven organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience using Salesforce.com to track sales activities is desirable
Exceptional interpersonal, client service, problem-solving, verbal & written communication, and conflict resolution skills
Decisiveness and attention to detail.
Prior experience in a BDR Lead role is mandatory
Experience working with international teams
Knowledge of the finance / fintech industry is a bonus but not essential
