Job Description

We are seeking career minded, experienced and motivated individuals for a full time position in the Product Development department in our Sofia based office which has been in operation since 2012, and currently employs over 90 people in the following departments: Operations, Compliance, Accounting, Risk Management, Product Development, Data Analytics, Marketing etc.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for the maintenance and the coordination of future feature requests for several of FXCM’s internally developed software products. The candidate will be responsible for customizing settings to these products as needed as part of routine maintenance to suit business needs, and will work with business teams, developers, and testing teams to implement new functionality.

Primary responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Liaising with business to confirm needed changes to the system, and coordination when applying said changes
  • Creating logical and innovative solutions to complex business problems with a focus on automation and improvements to the customer experience
  • Documenting newly created solutions in project packages
  • Writing business requirements documentation in user story format along with use cases for new feature requests
  • Preparing documentation on process flows and presenting them to business stakeholders when needed
  • Working closely with developers along with business stakeholders to ensure technical compatibility and end user satisfaction in an Agile environment
  • Working closely with QA testing team to ensure new and existing functionality is properly implemented
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT)


  • Must have minimum 1 year experience in Business Analyst role or Project Manager role
  • Experience in an Agile environment is strongly preferred
  • Must have experience writing User Stories and business requirements
  • Having a BA certification from IIBA, PMI or equivalent organization is strongly preferred
  • Experience in financial sector strongly preferred
  • Experience with Customer Onboarding strongly preferred
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Must be analytical with the capability to evaluate business objectives and come up with innovative solutions
  • Must be independent and a self-starter, the position entails working with remote staff
  • Must have excellent collaboration skills
  • Must have fluency in English, both written and verbal

Hours: 40 hours/week - Monday to Friday. Working hours/Shifts: 10am-7pm
