Job Purpose:

  • Assure that the Sales and Operations processes are implemented in the best possible way in Salesforce;
  • Own, drive and improve development process and planning within a team of developers;
  • Responsible for the delivery of practical and sustainable solutions in a cross functional environment; by actively engaging with your business stakeholders and truly, understanding their business needs;
  • Assure platform stability and improvement through design solutions;
  • Deliver development projects as per agreed planning, by assuring clear business requirements and Solution design, as well as driving testing and quality control;

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation of the business requirements for the delivery of Change Requests in relation to the PayU Salesforce solution as well as maintain and support business as usual requests;
  • Implement application development requirements with a constant focus on providing technical guidance and coordinating business efficiencies through the activities of applications development;
  • Liaise with IT infrastructure services and other third parties, in support of applications maintenance and development activities;
  • Own and Drive the development process, including story definition, estimation, code review, release and support/maintenance;
  • Support PayU’s Sales & Service Cloud;
  • Support improvement initiatives involving other business applications;
  • Act as technical expert for and share knowledge as appropriate;

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant professional qualifications;
  • Technical Experience - minimum of 3 years platform /Sales Cloud & Service Cloud implementations as a developer;
  • Significant experience with Apex, Visual force, controllers, triggers, batch processes, APIs and web services;
  • Best Practices understanding on Coding Standards, Deployment, Apex, VF, Salesforce Integration, experience with middleware’s, data analytics, archiving;
  • Achieving Results - Be aware of key business objectives and ensure these are applied appropriately to all business activities;
  • Planning and Organizing - Good at determining a course of action by breaking it down into smaller steps and by planning and resourcing each of these, making allowance for potential problems. Thorough understanding on the Life Cycle of Development including Salesforce Deployment/Packaging effectively using Metadata API, ChangeSet and Ant.;
  • Collaboration &Teamwork – Communicate pro-actively and clearly with your stakeholders to clarify requirements challenges, assumptions and deliver future proof solutions; Able to contribute effectively towards the objectives of a team, and be able to share knowledge, ideas and information;
