Valutico is a B2B FinTech player internationally operating a valuation platform that empowers financial services providers and valuation practitioners with data-driven tools to conduct their analyses more efficiently.

We are looking for our first dedicated Backend Engineer to complete a team of highly qualified professionals devoted to designing and developing innovative web-based platform solutions. We are looking for a solid and organized personality for this international and dynamic environment to bring Valutico’s codebase to the next level.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, implementing, and improving backend software
• Writing tests and releasing & monitoring your code
• Contribute to discussions regarding new technologies
• Mentor other developers and share knowledge

Qualifications:

• Understanding of technology platforms and industry standards.
• Experience writing robust, maintainable APIs, specially GraphQL
• Previous experience with Ruby and microservice architecture
• Experience with SQL, we heavily use Postgres at Valutico
• Previous experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container technology.
• Willingness to learn and to work as part of a highly experienced team
• Fluent English
