Role Purpose

The Tech Project Manager (Tech PM) will be a key member of the team overseeing the department’s projects, and working with stakeholders to manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables. The Tech PM will report directly to the head of the department and will be responsible to bring visibility and accountability for the projects handled by Development, QA, Infrastructure, InfoSec, and Product. This role is critical to ensure delivery on-time and within scope, managing expectations, risks and maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities
  • Create and oversee a project plan for each project being implemented by the tech teams (Product, Dev, QA, Infra, InfoSec)
  • Create and manage RACI matrixes
  • Manage critical path resources across all projects being implemented by tech team
  • Enforce timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Report on project updates
  • Internal and external stakeholder management
  • Financial reporting on project cost
  • Manage change requests
  • Handle escalations

Requirements
  • Project management experience, especially managing multiple projects in parallel
  • Working in an Agile environment
  • Managing projects with direct engagement with C-Suite members
  • Using project management tools and translating product and client roadmaps into Gantt charts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Coordinating across multidisciplinary teams and people
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
  • Experience in technology projects is a must, understanding agile development and unblocking scrum teams
