Job purpose

StoneX is extending its presence in the DACH region making its global payments product available to financial institutions. In an effort to grow the product further and continue the expansion in DACH, StoneX is seeking an individual must be able to interact with a broad group of people and be bilingual in German and English. The position is based in Germany. The job requires a fair amount of travel in DACH region and internationally.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working independently in managing the sales in Germany, ideally having an existing book of clients in the Financial Institution space
  • Understanding of the FX related regulatory requirements in the DACH markets.
  • Deepening and growing existing client relationships and establishing new ones

Job requirements:

  • Self-starter and entrepreneur that can work independently
  • Experience in a similar role working in the treasury or global markets department of a bank selling Treasury products. Knowledge in foreign exchange, fixed income or payments sales an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team worker
  • Original and independent thinker that can sell to different client groups and can present to corporate clients
  • Bilingual: German / English, another language an advantage

Technical Knowledge and abilities:

  • Strong understanding of the FX related rules and regulations of the Emerging Markets
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients
  • Delivery focused and disciplined in approach, with an ability to be proactive, work under pressure and within tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Able to develop and articulate strategy and long-term objectives for others in an engaging and collaborative manner

Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or comparable education
  • Previous job experience in FI coverage (relationship)
  • Payments and/or FX-knowledge
  • Client acquisition experience/Ability to create and maintain a customer relationship
  • Good understanding of the various marketing playing field
  • Working knowledge MS-Office & Salesforce
  • Understanding of the B2B cross-border payment market
  • Fluent in English and German
