Your opportunity:
  • As part of the Customer Success team, you will be the technical face of Belvo to prospects and customers.
  • You will lead our Solutions Engineering team made of junior and senior individual contributors, who are based in any of the three countries we have operations in.
  • You will influence and collaborate with other teams, such as Product and Sales, to ensure a customer-centric approach from every corner of the organization.
  • You will be expected to have highly technical, consultative conversations with engineers and PMs at the prospect's side during the sales process.
  • Once signed, you will advise and support customers on the best use of the Belvo API using various tools already available. Your team will count on you to help unblock issues, find creative solutions for customer problems.
  • Knowing the status of every onboarding customer will be critical to this position. You will own the time-to-value metric and consistently report it to the internal organization.
  • Every day, you will interact with customers in one way or another, learn from them and leverage these insights to ensure their continued success as they integrate with Belvo.
  • Become the in-house subject matter expert in Belvo integrations, backend, and frontend for different use cases in various financial products (personal lending, lending, personal finance, mortgages, auto loans, investments, insurance, and others).
  • Take ownership and develop best practices or initiatives to improve the performance of your tasks or help other team members who follow the "work smarter, not harder" mindset.
  • As a manager, you will develop the overall team strategy (OKRs, processes, initiatives, etc.), coach and develop talent, and own the team's headcount and hiring strategy.
  • This position is highly collaborative. You will constantly interact with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales) to learn and solve our prospects' and customers' questions and issues. You will also share customer feedback to help craft the product roadmap.

This position may be for you if:
  • 7+ years of experience in a relevant Software Developer role using object-oriented programming languages like Ruby, Node.js, or Python.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing experience.
  • Experience with API development platforms like Postman or Swagger.
  • Proven expertise in performing third-party REST API integrations.
  • Strong communication in English and Spanish or Portuguese (both written and verbal) and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead technical conversations and discussions (whether in person or via video/call) with many technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management skills in fast-paced, high-accountability and large-stakes environments to drive development projects from inception to fruition.
  • A passion for accomplishing objectives as part of a team and a highly proactive attitude.

Amazing if:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar.
  • Fintech and SaaS experience.
  • Understanding of conversion funnels.
  • Expertise in programming in one or more languages.
  • Cloud architecture and infrastructure knowledge.

Our tech stack:
  • We’re building our platform using modern technologies, putting the focus on reliability and long-term maintainability
  • We primarily use Python on the backend. We use battle-tested technologies such as Django, and we are heavy users of Python’s asyncio for some parts of our stack
  • We use Javascript, Vue.js and Sass on the frontend. We are developing and leveraging our own design system and component library
  • We run our infrastructure on top of Amazon Web Services, leveraging managed services. We tend to favor the use of managed services wherever possible, in order to focus on our business problems
  • We observe and monitor our services using Datadog
  • We follow Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery best practices
