Overview

As the Digital Advertising Designer, you will be responsible for the creative design for all media and performance-based digital advertisements. This role requires an expert who can combine creativity and branding design to quickly formulate and execute compelling global ads. You will work very closely with your partnered Digital Advertising Copywriter within the global client acquisition team. You will play a key role in developing engaging, high-quality digital campaigns that help to maximize revenues, increase retention, and strengthen our brand in the marketplace. You will work with your supervisor and the digital media team and liaise with Marketing department to learn brand story and motifs used in the brand design and have access to all previous and current content as a baseline to develop your own informative and dynamic content.

This tandem role with the Digital Advertising Copywriter will co-develop and co-execute with a quick response rate due to reactive and speculative world events or trading behaviours. The various digital advertising modalities include, but are not limited to, on-boarding comms, USPs, lifecycle ads around events, earning season, trading, world events, product releases, and cross-selling of new or existing product lines. This role is new into the Client Acquisitions team and an amazing opportunity to develop it as your own (building the short and long-term library, for example).

Responsibilities
  • Be a hands-on performance and paid advertising designer, responsible for the look and feel and final development of all digital advertising output
  • Creating concepts and visual identities for campaigns/promotions, as directed
  • Working on Digital Advertising Display platforms, creating Social Media graphics and concepts.
  • Advanced user of Adobe CS software on Mac platform, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • A strong portfolio showing a thorough understanding and experience in online digital graphics design
  • Ability to design unique and refined promotional visuals
  • Excellent typographic skills
  • Ability and willingness to follow creative direction but also interpret briefs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within established processes
  • Experience of working within strong brand guidelines and being a brand guardian within performance digital ads
  • Highly organised and process driven, highly creative candidate
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with an adaptable and positive attitude
  • Designing for digital client acquisitions initiatives and performance ads
  • Work closely with your partnered Copywriter to identify, develop and execute
  • Supporting all Client Acquisition initiatives
  • Constantly learning the voice to advertise our global tech products and services and our competitors' activities
  • Providing customised messaging strategies and copy based on defined customer segments, shared knowledge of user behaviour, and best practice standards.
  • Collaborating to facilitate continued evolution of the brand voice and messaging across all media formats.
  • Manage related design and development requests; use copy content as leverage to develop design /test with content prior to deployment/distribution.
  • Manage client communication approval processes to ensure communication meets business and compliance/legal objectives.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience
  • Previous design and advertising experience

Qualification And Skills
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Solid technical content and copy creation experience within digitally led marketing organisation in the financial, investment, trading or spread-betting vertical would be an advantage.
  • Ability to translate a wide range and large volume of complex information into simple, accurate, clear, consistent, and compelling design for prospects, clients, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to develop effective long-term working relationships both within the department & across departments and at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent attention to detail by using copy and intention of advertising goals as the springboard for excellence in design
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Desirable
  • Knowledge of, or experience in Motion Graphics including Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D and other creative disciplines.
  • Use of digital adverting platforms including banner wise.
  • Website UI design experience.
  • There will be a combination of business-as-usual adverts, as well as special projects
