You'll be responsible for making sure our technology and information systems are top-notch, so we can grow and provide excellent service to our customers while keeping their data secure. You'll lead the charge on developing our tech strategy, stay up to date with emerging trends and tools, and work closely with other departments to make sure we're meeting our goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company's technology and information systems strategy and roadmap, in alignment with business goals and objectives.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's information systems, including software, hardware, and networks, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
Champion the implementation of a data-led, API-first technology approach/culture across the organization.
Develop and maintain effective technology standards, policies, and procedures that support quality assurance, platform security, data protection, and compliance requirements.
Manage and optimize the company's technology budget, resources, and vendors, ensuring cost-effective solutions are in place.
Manage and grow high-performing engineering and technical operations teams that deliver quality and timely releases in line with Lula's roadmap and internal service level objectives.
Monitor and manage development partner delivery and performance, ensuring alignment with Lula's quality and security standards.
Collaborate with business teams to identify opportunities for improving operating efficiencies, creating process automations, and enhancing the customer experience.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies and trends that could enhance the company's products and services, or improve internal processes and efficiency.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the company's information systems, ensuring resilience and preparedness for any eventuality.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as data protection laws and cybersecurity best practices.
Stay up to date with industry developments, regulations, and trends that impact the fintech sector, and communicate any potential risks or opportunities to the executive team.
Required Skills And Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in a fintech environment.
Proven experience in developing and implementing technology and information systems strategies that align with business goals and deliver measurable results.
Strong technical knowledge across a range of areas, such as software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
Experience in managing budgets, vendors, and teams, with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically.
