We are currently looking for an Operations & Finance Manager (SCA - UAE based) to join our global team and work closely with our UAE Head.
The ideal individual will be responsible in developing the financial procedures, monitoring accounting restrictions and daily settlements of the clients.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for all financial regulatory reports submissions (monthly clients money, cash flow monthly forecast)
Assist with tax planning
Responsible for the annual external audits
Prepare group internal management accounts on a monthly basis
Oversee all treasury activities
In charge of relationships with various stakeholders inside and outside the organisation - tax authorities, suppliers, banks etc
Budget and budget vs actual
Approving expenses and costs for UAE region
Coordinating budget and business plans for UAE region with FP&A group manager
Responsible for all finance related matters in UAE region - banking, payments/PSPs (with collaboration of Group head of banking), payroll, accounting, audit, tax etc
Monitoring and managing daily cash position of the Company
Oversight of daily Client Money reconciliations per SCArules
Oversight of bookkeeping of the Company
Oversight and management of payments to suppliers
Dealing with Auditors, annual SCA reports
The ideal individual may have the below qualifications:
A university degree and at least (5) years of experience in financial markets or related fields; or
A diploma or less and at least (5) years of experience in the financial markets or related fields
FRS)
Good command of the English Language
Good communication and analytical skills and ability to lead the team
Certified Management Accountant (CMA); or
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
University Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Minimum 5 years of experience in finance
Knowledge of local statutory requirements
Experience with process documentation and finance process improvement will be an asset
Advanced knowledge of reporting rules and requirements
