As we grow our Compliance function globally, we are now looking for an exceptional individual to join the team and take ownership for our Compliance responsibilities for Luno France.. The role in a nutshell:

Luno France is on the search for an ambitious and highly talented Compliance Officer who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment and is passionate about collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a world class compliance programme. As our Compliance Officer (France), you will help ensure that Luno’s French operations remain compliant with regulatory obligations, with robust systems and controls in place to maintain and enhance the strong compliance culture across the organisation.

This role will be ideal for someone with high levels of energy, enthusiasm and creativity, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to work within a global crypto organisation, while also having some fun at the same time. The successful candidate will report directly to the Global Head of Compliance (UK based).

Your mission will be:

Maintaining and developing Luno’s regulatory compliance relationships, including with the Autorité Des Marchés Financiers (AMF) and Traitement Du Renseignement et Action Contre Les Circuits Financier (TRACFIN);working closely with other Lunauts to identify, assess and mitigate regulatory compliance risks; reviewing and updating policies, procedures and processes to ensure ongoing compliance with local regulatory requirements;staying abreast of relevant laws and regulations and working with key stakeholders to provide guidance and interpretation; and supporting the business in the development and launch of new products to ensure innovation within the bounds of French regulatory requirements.

A little about you:

Experience in Compliance or Financial Crime within fintech or financial services;Excellent knowledge of the French regulatory environment and experience in driving positive engagement with regulatory bodies;Ability to present complex facts and issues in an understandable manner;Fluent in both French and English (inc. written);Organisational, time management, problem solving, multitasking skills and a positive “can do” attitude;Strong interest in fintech and/or cryptocurrency. Experience in or understanding of cryptocurrency is desirable (but not essential); andStrong academic qualification
