SlimPay is actively seeking a Senior Sales Executive to play a pivotal role in its growth strategy in Europe. Our journey of expansion is only just the beginning. The candidate will be based in our Paris office and is expected to concentrate on promoting SlimPay services across various recurring sectors (billers) in the European market.

We encourage teamwork among SlimPay and Trustly Sales Team members located in different offices, intensify efforts to grow the Share of Wallet in the Enterprise merchant sector, and acknowledge exceptional accomplishments with rewards.

Key responsibilities

You will focus on selling the best recurring payment solutions to the biggest billers across Europe. Your will target accounts ranging from €100 million to €1 billion ARR and beyond. In this role, you will play a crucial part in addressing some of the most successful companies in utilities, insurance, media, telecom, to sustain rapid growth.

Reporting to the VP sales you will be responsible for driving revenue growth from new business through value selling.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a strong background in the payment industry (subscription economy knowledge is a nice to have), develop a strong understanding of our solution and our business value, and have a “challenger sales” mindset.

Your missions

  • Develop your own territory and opportunity plan to build a robust pipeline of opportunities with the help of SDR
  • Manage the entire sales cycle and precisely predict the profitable and consistent performance of your territory by adhering to our sales process
  • Facilitate merchant integration with onboarding manager until commercial live to guarantee payment volumes
  • Collaborate seamlessly with our marketing, product, and customer service teams and Compliance to achieve exceptional outcomes
  • Develop a good understanding of our solution and business value
  • Capability to interact at the executive level with crucial decision-makers, including CEOs, CFOs, and CTOs of prominent corporations to inform and educate about SlimPay's value proposition
  • Implement a deal-by-deal negotiation strategy and tactics
  • Engage in other revenue-generating actions and opportunities, participate in relevant industry activities, and stay informed about payment industry trends

Who you are

  • A self-starter with a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the payments/banking sector.
  • Sales experience on large accounts, selling complex solutions in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • You thrive as a team player, finding enjoyment in collaborating with a global team spanning various offices, roles, and cultures.
  • You possess analytical and strategic negotiation skills, enjoy digging into business models, coupled with a commercially oriented challenger sales approach, goal-driven attitude.
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
  • Solid experience in selling complex solutions with consultative approach
  • Proactive & able to work autonomously
