Job Description

Payd is a “force for good” startup with a focus on employee financial wellbeing. We have received VC funding and are looking for a marketing manager to join our growing team in Malaysia.

We’re passionate about our project and our goal is to help provide financial flexibility to those who need it in Southeast Asia. We’re looking for a marketing manager with experience in managing the top of the funnel activities at a tech company. This is a senior marketing hire and hence the role will have a strong focus on our marketing strategy as well as implementation.

Responsibilities:

Looking for an enthusiastic and driven person to be the first person in our marketing team and is looking for a chance to build a team and a strategy at a fast-growing Fintech startup.

Working closely with the two co-founders, you will be responsible for devising, developing and driving a comprehensive marketing plan for the business that supports our aggressive growth plans. You will be data driven and comfortable with adjusting plans based on data points.

With excellent marketing experience you will have the ability to get involved in all aspects of Marketing, Including;

  • Digital: Updating, maintaining and optimising the website and digital channels
  • Traffic generation: Manage website SEO and other digital marketing to increase visits to the website
  • Sales & Marketing: Write, maintain and curate sales and marketing collateral
  • Lead generation: Ensure there is a strong presence at trade shows and events to maximise lead generation and promote the brand
  • PR & Comms: Manage all external and internal PR & communications
  • Brand building: Ensure the curation of original content submitting awards entries and showcasing at exhibitions to enhance brand reputation

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, presentation and social media
  • 5 + years of relevant experience and with a strong track record in marketing in the fintech or tech space in Malaysia and Southeast Asia
  • Demonstrable experience of marketing generalist background
  • CRM & marketing platform experience
  • Experience working with HubSpot
  • Experience working with Fintech’s as clients or working for a Fintech firm
