We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-Time System Administrator and Engineer in our Cyprus office - a certified Great Place to Work®.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced System Administrator and Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, providing technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of systems and applications, and managing / administrating Cloud services in AZURE/GPC/AWS.

Reporting to: Head of Operations

Responsibilities:

System Administration:

  • Install, configure, and maintain server and desktop operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
  • Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability
  • Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data backup procedures
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and software upgrade

Assets Management:

  • Oversee IT equipment to ensure standardized and secure workstations
  • Maintain an assets registry
  • Purchase required hardware/licenses
  • Manage financial IT expenses (software/hardware)

Desktop Support & Training:

  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop systems, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications and software
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on new software, hardware, and IT policies

Network Management:

  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points
  • Ensure network security and troubleshoot network connectivity issues
  • Support VPN, remote access, and other connectivity solutions

Project Management:

  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and execute projects

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
  • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
  • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Customer-oriented attitude
