Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in Limassol, Cyprus. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Amazon Web Services (AWS), possessing a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

●    Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.

●    Develop and maintain CI/CD Pipelines

●    Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to streamline and optimize cloud deployments.

●    Automate cloud operations and processes to improve efficiency and reliability.

●    Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues.

●    Implement best practices for cloud security, cost management, and compliance.

●    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

●    Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

●    Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS.

●    Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Route53, Lambda, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch and VPC.

●    Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as code tools), Primarily Cloudformation

●    Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

●    Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, WAF, DNS, and load balancing.

●    Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

●    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

●    Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

●    Windows and Linux OS administration experience

●    Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous delivery (CI/CD) Tools such as Bamboo, Octopus deploy, Jenkins, and AWS Codecommit, Codebuild, Codedeploy and Codepipeline.

Highly Regarded

●    Terraform

●    AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are desirable.

●    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
