About You

What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role

• Provides a fast growing, multi-faceted role to develop big picture thinking and gain exposure to senior management.
• Support the Financial Analysis function of the Bank
• Perform financial analysis and industry benchmarking to advise on pricing and structure of banking products, as well as overall efficiency of the bank
• Collaborate with product teams of the bank on new business initiatives / new projects
• Support corporate finance initiatives, including building the bank’s financial model and forecasting financial performance
• Support the budgeting/forecasting/planning process and help with setting the bank’s KPIs and targets
• Support the Treasury Trading function of the Bank
• Assist the Treasury team to devise the bank’s overall treasury investment strategy
• Assist Treasury to perform trading activities (e.g. money market, CDs, bonds, etc), while ensuring that any trades made are in compliance with regulatory requirements such as LMR, CAR, and internal limits

What Is Required And What We’re Looking For

• Candidate is expected to understand banking industry and financial concepts and interested in developing a holistic view of managing the bank balance sheet / profitability
• An adaptable self-starter who can help the team continue to support the rapid growth of the bank as it continues to roll out new products
• Dependable, strong attention to detail, and able to take on responsibility for own tasks
• Examples of exceptional talent and track record whether in school or early career
• University degree in Finance, Data, Statistics or related disciplines
• 1-3 years experiences, preferably in roles with heavy data analytics or that provide a good foundation of financial concepts
• Preferably in progress of CFA, CPA, or Data Analytics certifications, and possesses advanced excel skills
• Welcome English / Chinese speakers alike
