We are currently looking for a Medior Manual QA Engineer to join our team.
Main task will be to assess software quality through manual testing of Web applications and REST APIs and responsibiliy for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. This position will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly, monitors all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards and meets client needs while being cost-effective.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with Developers, Product Owners and Business Analysts in an agile environment to help to implement the request gained from our shops and customers and to ensure a high-quality product;
Focusing on improving services that will help to increase loan origination and facilitation of loans between Leanpay and partner banks;
Finding and reporting bugs and glitches;
Analyzing requirements and come up with a test plan to ensure testing quality;
Reviewing functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables;
Writing manual test cases;
Preparing tests cases as part of functional requirements;
Performing Quality Assurance by conducting manual testing to find defects and assure that the product meets design specifications and requirements;
Isolating, reproducing, verifying, and reporting defects, as well as implementing new and maintaining already created manual tests;
Effectively communicating and documenting all the defects discovered during the Quality Assurance process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience;
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance field (experience in FinTech or banking institutions is a plus);
In-depth understanding of complete and modern Web applications with microservice architecture on Cloud;
Experience with REST web service testing (Postman/SoupUI);
Experience with test tracking tools;
Basic understanding of Object-Oriented concepts;
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
Knowledge of Cloud Computing Environment (Google Cloud) or Amazon Web Services (AWS);
Excellent analytical skills;
Good verbal & written communications skills in English;
High propensity to learn and progress;
Excellent work habit and self initiative.
A keen eye for detail and enjoy to provide end-to-end solutions to software quality problems;
