Senior Full Stack Developer

FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established multi-regulated Australian broker offering traders access to CFDs across Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time Senior Full Stack Developer (9am to 6pm Cyprus time, Monday - Friday) leading a team of max 3 developers in Cyprus office - a certified Great Place to Work®.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the full website development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
• Work with a team to design, develop, and maintain websites
• Produce clean, well-structured code based on project specifications
• Integrate 3rd party APIs to enhance website and application functionality
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues while applying analytical problem-solving skills
• Manage databases, ensuring efficient data handling and storage
• Handle web hosting management, including AWS, ensuring smooth performance
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific requirements
• Perform hands-on development on the Laravel platform, including multilingual site setup
• Ensure proper documentation of all development processes
• Work in a highly collaborative environment with designers, developers, and other stakeholders

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree or high-level of combination of education and experience
• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred
• Minimum 5 year work experience as Web Developer, both front-end and back-end
• Proven experience working with Laravel, WordPress, MODX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, PHP/Laravel and SAAS
• Good Knowledge of MySQL/RDS
• Familiarity with any of the modern JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, Angular)
• Version control (GIT) and JIRA usage experience
• Experience developing responsive websites
• Fluency in English, both oral and written
• Strong decision making skills, ability to work under pressure and manage the team
