Tickmill is looking to hire a Full-Stack Web Developer to join our Marketing team.

What the job looks like?

The Full-Stack Web Developer will have the opportunity to:

  • Be responsible for the gathering of requirements, designing and implementing new features.
  • Building reusable and scalable code and libraries for future use.
  • Write ‘clean’, well-designed code.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, and follow industry best practices.
  • Make sure to troubleshoot, test, and refactor the existing and new websites.
  • Ensure the core product software and databases are strong & optimized.
  • Ensure the functionality of company’s websites for speed and flexibility.
  • Research and integrating new web technologies to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
  • Provide recommendations for emerging trends.

What will you need to be able to do the job?

  • Minimum 3-4 years of previous experience, preferably in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Strong understanding of PHP and Laravel Framework.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (i.e., MySQL).
  • Good understanding of JavaScript Vue.js and Node.js.
  • Experience with Git source control.
  • Experience with Statamic CMS will be considered as advantage.
  • Excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of CSS and Bootstrap framework will be considered as advantage
  • BA/BS in Computer Science.
  • Excellent command of English language,
  • Positive can-do attitude,
  • High level of work-ethic,
  • Excellent team player.
