Your role in the Team

We are looking for a Quantitative Analyst to join our Risk and Compliance AI & Analytics Team. R&C Quantitative Analyst is a professional who uses data analysis and modeling techniques to assess and manage various types of risks in the sector.

What You’ll Do

  • Using Python and SQL in developing, maintaining, and presenting several risk management models
  • Developing Python and SQL scripts for automation and optimization of existing processes, managing various requests from stakeholders (Dealing Teams, Regulators, or the Senior Leadership Team.)
  • Analyzing complex data sets to identify patterns and draw meaningful conclusions that inform decision-making. This involves using statistical and quantitative methods to assess compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Supporting Risk and Compliance Department teams as well as stakeholders with their requests. This requires a comprehensive understanding of the processes, investigations, and the ability to diagnose and rectify any problems.
  • Understanding the source, scope and limitations of data; the Team is highly data driven and so a firm grasp of how to manipulate and understand data is crucial.
  • Creating documentation and performing tests on built models in line with Model Risk Management Framework
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, IT, and business units, to develop and implement AI-driven solutions
  • Actively sharing knowledge with other team members;

What You’ll Need For This Role

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages
  • Knowledge of risk management concepts and methodologies
  • Ability to work with large and complex data sets, using various tools and techniques to extract, transform, and analyze data
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex and technical information to various audiences
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality, as well as problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Desirable: Market and Credit risk knowledge
