IT Operations Manager

We are seeking an IT Operations Manager, with a broad knowledgebase and extensive experience in the Financial Services industry, to join our rapidly growing global workforce in Limassol, Cyprus. The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the office and client facing trading platform support. Someone who excels in this role will have experience in all IT disciplines and can lead IT related projects as well as troubleshoot complex issues in MT4 and MT5 and our proprietary trading application. This role will have an influential impact in the future state of the ThinkMarkets Global network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee performance and stability of all IT systems
• Provide internal and external support for MT4, MT5 and proprietary trading platforms
• Function as a hands-on leader and maintain strategy as agreed upon by global teams
• Participate in architecture design exercises as a member of the Global IT team
• Drive timely completion of project and support related items
• Track and identify new technologies, if needed, to solve complex business issues
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT operations within the Financial Services Industry
• BA/MS degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Public and Private Clouds like AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Openstack, VMWare, etc
• Experience working in an Agile project management environment
• Intermediate level experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask between multiple tasks
• Ability to process complex problems quickly and come up with unique and functional solutions 
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing MT4 and MT5 platforms
• Ability to write SQL queries is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
