You will work closely with the Head of Events and Sponsorships (Europe) to organise and manage our events and sponsorship activity throughout Europe. This will include (but not limited to) managing exhibition/expo sponsorship packages, bespoke client events, internal events, client hospitality events, sponsorship activations and sponsorship liaison with partners’ clubs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across both events and sponsorship - the work split will be approx. 75% events, 25% sponsorship.

Key responsibilities will include:

Events:

  • Event management - taking the event brief, proposal production, venue search, leading site inspections, creation of project documentation e.g. project timeline, onsite schedules and risk assessments / H&S documentation.
  • Working closely with our regional European business teams, building strong working relationships and assisting with the creation and execution of events.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of delegate management services to include, build and coordinate of registration platforms, data management, travel booking, hotel accommodation and reporting
  • Financial management including, budget development and ownership, expenses, invoice processing, timely post event reconciliation and financial reporting
  • Sourcing, negotiating, contracting and management of event service suppliers and venues.
  • Collaborating with external partners to provide audio visual equipment, entertainment, design services, theming and branding depending on the event scope and budget
  • Working closely with the content manager to create content and branding for events and sponsorship activations.
  • Sourcing, ideation, management of our branded merchandise
  • Post event project wrap up to include final attendance reporting, budget reconciliation, internal and external debrief meetings and sharing of learnings and suggestions for future events
  • Ensure events are delivered on-time, within budget and exceed stakeholder’s expectations
  • Events will be in UK, Europe and Middle East so regular travel will be required (approx once per month)

Sponsorship:

  • Managing match day sponsorship activations with our partners clubs in the UK (Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Everton & West Ham)
  • Coordinating partner club content days alongside the content manager
  • Working with Premiership Rugby on our partnership deliverables.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years event experience, ideally within professional or financial services
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to deliver multiple projects in a timely manner and enjoy doing it!
  • Experience working within corporate sport sponsorship is desirable, but not essential.
  • Confidence working with senior management and c-suite
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is imperative
  • Confident working with legal and finance departments on contracts and payments.
  • Prepared to be versatile and do admin work that is required for the events and sponsorship
  • Language skills an advantage but not essential
