Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration, management, and optimisation of Salesforce solutions to support our business needs. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to ensure the success of our Salesforce platform.

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, implement custom solutions, and provide strategic recommendations. This role will also involve mentoring junior team members, providing training, and overseeing the day-to-day administration of the Salesforce environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Salesforce platform to ensure it meets the needs of the organisation.
  • Configure and customise Salesforce applications, including object creation, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, process builder, and automation.
  • Oversee user management, roles, profiles, and permissions to maintain system security and integrity.
  • Develop and implement custom solutions using Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and other tools.
  • Automate business processes and integrate Salesforce with third-party applications to streamline workflows.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance system performance to meet business requirements.
  • Design and manage reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits, managing data imports, and troubleshooting data-related issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and enforce data governance standards.
  • Provide second-line support for Salesforce users, troubleshooting issues and guiding users on best practices.
  • Resolve technical problems promptly and effectively to minimise business disruption.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to train end-users and ensure optimal usage of Salesforce features.
  • Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
  • Lead and facilitate requirements gathering, analysis, and design sessions.
  • Advise leadership on best practices and new Salesforce features that could improve business processes.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior Salesforce administrators and other team members.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to enhance user adoption.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and ensure the organisation is leveraging new functionality.
  • Plan and manage Salesforce release upgrades, ensuring the smooth deployment of new features and fixes.
  • Test new features and functionality, identifying potential impacts and providing solutions before release.

Who are you?

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce products and solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and/or other Salesforce modules
  • Experience in customising Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Process Builder, Flow, and Lightning components.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) required
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM 301) certification preferred
  • Proficient in Salesforce configuration, customisation, and administration
  • Experience with data management tools (Data Loader, Dataloader.io, etc.)
  • Understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, and third-party tools
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security features (profiles, roles, permission sets)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
