Job Description

As the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Squared Financial, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth across all business units. This executive role requires a strategic leader who can align sales, marketing, and customer success teams to optimize the client acquisition journey, increase lifetime value, and expand market share. The CRO will ensure the company's revenue goals are achieved while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and fostering long-term client relationships. 

Revenue Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue growth strategy aligned with the company's vision and goals.
  • Oversee the sales, marketing, and customer success functions, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment on objectives.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Set measurable revenue and profitability goals and ensure performance metrics are met or exceeded. 

Sales Management

  • Lead the sales team in developing a pipeline of opportunities across B2B and B2C segments.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the sales strategies.
  • Expand partnerships and affiliate networks to drive new business opportunities.
  • Ensure effective sales forecasting and revenue reporting to the CEO and Board.

Marketing Leadership

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Oversee the alignment of the marketing strategy with revenue goals, ensuring maximum return on investment.
  • Monitor digital marketing efforts, including paid advertising, SEO, social media, and content marketing. 

Client Retention & Success

  • Work closely with the customer success team to ensure superior client experience and maximize retention rates.
  • Establish programs to enhance client engagement, increase lifetime value, and reduce churn.
  • Develop strategies to cross-sell and upsell products and services to existing clients.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and mentor high-performing teams in sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Promote a results-driven culture while encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Foster collaboration between teams to ensure unified messaging and execution

Financial & Regulatory Oversight

  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop accurate revenue projections and manage budgets effectively.
  • Ensure all revenue-generating activities comply with local and international regulations, especially within the financial services and forex industries.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in sales, marketing, or revenue-focused roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth within the financial services or fintech industry, preferably in a brokerage or forex environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets and trading platforms.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for business opportunities.
  • Established and extensive network within the financial services industry, particularly with Introducing Brokers (IBs).
