About The Role
As an Engineering Manager at Qred, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our organizational design, people management, and way of working. You'll be acting as a development manager for the Revenue domain, which means you will be responsible for leading and supporting our 4 development teams with one Tech Lead per team. Your focus will be to ensure alignment with our methodologies, and fostering collaboration within the Revenue domain. This role calls for a visionary leader with a technical background and a passion for building high-performing teams.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- People Management: Oversee performance & staff management of our of engineering teams consisting of ~15 engineers
- Efficient Way of Working: Champion methodologies like Agile, Lean, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering processes. Drive and align our Qred engineering maturity model through all teams
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work: Foster strong collaboration and communication between Engineering, Product Management, and UX Design
- Organizational Design: Define team structures, optimize resource allocation and match personalities, ensure scalability and productivity within the engineering organization
- Recruitment and Retention: Lead the recruitment strategy for Engineering for the domain, attracting top talent and fostering a culture of retention
- Enable Qred: You will be part of the Revenue Domain and you will have a tight collaboration with CTO, Architects and Chef Revenue Officer. Your focus will be what is best for Qred, then the product department
- A passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent
- A technical background with broad full-stack experience, preferred language is Javascript (nodejs / react / react native), we don't expect you to code but we expect you to understand the challenges our engineers face in their competence and in the cross-functional team
- You would need two years of experience in a Head of Engineering or development manager role in a sizable organization, preferably in a domain structure organization
- We also see that you have a university engineering degree
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern software development principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across functions
