Worldline helps businesses of all shapes and sizes to accelerate their growth journey - quickly, simply, and securely. We are the innovators at the heart of the payments technology industry, shaping how the world pays and gets paid. Our technology powers the growth of millions of businesses across 5 continents. And just as we help our customers accelerate their business, we are committed to helping our people accelerate their careers. Together, we shape the evolution.
The Opportunity
Worldline is a global leader in the fintech market with over three decades of experience. We are transitioning into a new era of payments, providing hardware, software, and services designed to help merchants grow their businesses. Cloud Services (CLS) teams are responsible for keeping our critical infrastructure reliable, secure, and scalable.
We are now looking for SREs who are passionate about service reliability, automation, and resilience, and want to drive innovation in quality and chaos engineering.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As an SRE, you will build, automate, and scale the core infrastructure that keeps Worldline's services reliable and secure. But more than that — you will challenge the system with chaos and failure testing to make sure we’re ready for anything and you will:
Automate everything — from infrastructure to deployments, focusing on self-healing systems and zero-touch support.
Develop and Run chaos / failure tests to help SRE teams find weaknesses before they become incidents.
Improve service reliability, availability, and scalability through engineering and automation.
Develop shared tools and platforms for all teams to use (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, failover mechanisms).
Partner with SRE and development teams in CLS to define and measure service quality (SLI/SLOs).
Secure our platforms following top security and compliance standards
Document what you build so others can easily adopt and improve it.
