Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager with a strong background in banking and financial services to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across Capital Markets, Foreign Exchange (FX), and Payments domains. This role demands strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on project delivery expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and successful outcomes.
Financial Oversight: Manage budgets exceeding $5M, including forecasting, financial reporting, and ROI tracking.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and issues; develop mitigation strategies and ensure timely resolution.
Process Excellence: Champion project management best practices to drive consistency, efficiency, and quality.
Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant industry regulations and internal compliance standards.
Team Leadership: Mentor junior project managers and foster a high-performance culture.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
Proven track record in stakeholder management and release planning.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar budgets.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Capital Markets products, FX trading processes, and Payments systems.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
