We are looking for a proactive and structured Business Analyst to join our team and help shape the way we build and scale our products. In this role, you’ll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and alignment between business goals and technical execution.
This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on analysis, communication, and collaboration across departments. Ideal for someone who enjoys digging into business logic and working closely with Product manage to deliver value.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams for all payment-related initiatives
Gather, analyze, and translate complex business needs into detailed specifications (user stories / use cases)
Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and QA to ensure shared understanding and smooth delivery
Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and feature prioritization sessions
Support development lifecycle by maintaining documentation, managing changes, and clarifying requirements as needed
Help define acceptance criteria and validate implemented solutions against requirements
Identify inefficiencies in business processes and propose improvements
Occasionally prepare and deliver clear presentations or pitches summarizing work progress, business processes description or proposed initiatives
Support occasional deep dives into product performance, user flows, or payment processes in collaboration with Product manager
Assist in market research or competitive analysis to validate hypotheses or explore potential improvements
Provide a second opinion or structured input during product discussions, when alternative perspectives are valuable
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the payments domain
Proven track record of successful stakeholder management, including engaging with senior leadership
Strong analytical thinking and ability to structure complex ideas into clear, actionable documentation
Solid understanding of business processes and systems integration
Understanding of API basics
Ability to read and interpret tech documentation
Understanding of UI/UX concepts
Experience working on B2B or B2C digital products
Comfortable facilitating meetings, workshops, and interviews with diverse stakeholders
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Prior experience in the Fintech or Banking industry is highly preferred
Would be good to have: experience in payments; understanding of how payment service providers (PSPs) work and transaction processing flow, understanding the aspects of accounting and payments reconciliation and awareness of fraud prevention, AML/KYC/KYT processes
Experience in data analysis to participate in decision-making and product performance tracking
