This role

This technical project manager role is part of the core technology management function in Delta Capita, reporting directly to our global CTO. The job entails working across Delta Capita business lines on technology initiatives based on our strategic enterprise architecture.  You will be a member of the technology team and focused on the delivery of our leading-edge digital/FinTech platform, alongside with parallel business line-specific initiatives.

You will be responsible for helping drive and manage the technology delivery for the DC platform. Further, you will help evolve the management and governance of the  platform, its service strategy and life-cycle management.

You and a team of software engineers will be working with our business lines and service delivery owners, to help build out and/or re-engineer their technology solutions as we build up the FinTech platform. As a PM you will:

  • Take responsibility for the timely delivery of agreed project, proofs of concept and pilot engagements
  • Drive the technology delivery for platform components while proactively and continuously improving the management processes
  • Be a hands-on manager, understand technology delivery and its complexities including team management and motivation
  • Have strong skills in project management methods, tools and practices
  • Build prototypes/rapid application development pilots for ideas/components that need technical proving
  • Set up of initial AWS infrastructure, working with a security specialist
  • Proactively pay attention to the security, scalability, performance, reliability and cost of our systems and infrastructure
  • Eager to learn, passionate about technology and happy to spread knowledge across teams to improve existing products and processes
  • Bring in fresh perspectives to our platform, stay on top of new software and infrastructure trends

Essential Skills & Experience


  • Have at least 6 years of hands-on technology project delivery experience
  • Be a “finisher” by nature, ensuring work gets completed as agreed, following up with the team members, stakeholders, partner firms/vendors or clients as necessary
  • Strong communications both in verbal and in writing, proactively managing expectations as well as any potential risks and issues
  • Effective at managing people, understanding their personal motivations, aspirations and ways of working
  • Strong skills in Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have worked in the commercial software design and development context, preferably at least some years in Financial Services
  • A good understanding and experience in agile delivery approaches and methods such as TDD/BDD
  • Love working in an agile environment and solving complex problems to their conclusion
  • Understand enough of full-stack, cloud-native technology to be able to question and challenge “given” timelines, constraints and roadblocks
  • Entrepreneurial drive to deliver successful projects
  • Adaptable approach, relishing opportunities to push yourself outside your comfort zone with any new challenges that you face
  • Driven to achieve the highest appropriate level of quality for the business need
  • Excited by new technologies you are continually looking to add to your project management toolbox and working in a FinTech environment.
  • Very good communication skills, high proficiency in English
  • Reliable and honest, people trust you to get things done when you say they will be, honest and open when challenges or roadblocks occur escalating appropriately



  • Agile delivery leadership as a scrum master
  • Background in software development/engineering (early in career) to truly understand technology project delivery
  • Experience working in an investment banking Global Markets
  • Formal PM qualifications
