Job Description

The Flash Group is a well-established global Fintech brand from South Africa with a new European strategy, which prides itself on making people’s lives easier through frontier technology and enabling business opportunities for partner Retailers. 2-year-old start-up in Europe going through a massive growth injection across Europe. Looking for a “winner” to join and lead the Czech Sales team.


We are looking to appoint a Sales & Growth Manager in the Czech branch who will be focused on growing the Retail network and gain business opportunities to drive the bottom line. Core functions will be to grow the Eezi brand by selling our API strategy into the Czech National Retailers from grocery, FMCG, convenience, telecoms, to forecourts. Bringing on board new business as well as cross selling additional products to existing partners. As for responsibilities, the Sales & Growth Manager’s job has three core components: first, to define the product growth plan, second, to develop and implement growth plans, and third, to optimize the product turnover and revenue growth.


Requirements:

  • Degree educated
  • Minimum 6 years’ proven sales experience as a Growth, Sales Director and or Key Account Manager selling into National Retailers in the Grocery, FMCG, convenience and or telecoms space.
  • Exposure to prepaid telecoms and handsets, prepaid gift cards, gift card malls, lottery and or payments is key
  • Experience working through Buyers to get to Board Level in National Retailers
  • Managing complex long sales cycles with multiple stake holders
  • Proven understanding of how to close and deliver complex deals
  • The Sales & Growth Manager should be able to build a structured sales pipeline and strategy from the bottom up
  • Must be an excellent communicator, collaborator and “people person” capable of sharing a vision, aligning people, focusing efforts and motivating key stakeholders in partner businesses.
  • Native Czech fluent in English
  • Ability to work remotely as first Czech employee for a Global Payments Fintech. Reporting to London Office

Responsibilities:

  • Role split – New business 60%, Cross sell to existing partners 20%, KAM 20%
  • Design and execute growth initiatives for new and existing products in line with business strategy to drive adoption of key growth initiatives.
  • Drive and deliver the growth strategy of the Eezi business in Czech
  • Responsible for identifying and building growth turnover by product across Czech
  • Manage the rollout and delivery of the solution after the sales
  • Key Account Manage the Retailers to drive more growth to achieve forecast plans
  • Identify cross selling opportunities
  • Build a network of independent stores selling prepaid SIM cards (Eezi Traders)
  • Manage the Eezi Traders
  • Leverage and translate insights to highlight product gaps and identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage growth and churn, Data driven and marketing focused
  • Manage quarterly tactical plans (growth and channel optimization)
  • Create and maintain the relevant strategic assets - growth roadmap per product, user stories, prioritize initiatives and changes to be made.
  • Identify and manage internal and external growth and communication channels.
  • Analysis and reporting of product performance – run pilots, tests, as well as measure.
  • Perform market and competitor research, and regular trade visits
  • Work with Brands to drive sales growth and increase activations
  • Work with Retail partners to drive sales growth and increase product activations
