Your opportunity:

Payment and industry partners are an important channel for Mollie’s growth. As we further expand through Europe, these partnerships are more important than ever before. Through their technology, branding and market presence we will come closer to our strategic goal - to become the most loved PSP of Europe.

You, as our new Partnership Manager - Payment Partners, will be responsible to grow and foster the relationships with our payment partners. Examples of the partners are: Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay, AMEX, MasterCard, VISA etc. You will develop commercial partnership models (e.g revenue share models and account plans) which enables Mollie to continue its European growth.

You will be part of our Global Partnerships team consisting of 10 partner managers. The team is spread around new business, account management and technical project management.What you'll be doing:

  • Expand our payment products within industry solutions and optimise platforms with the best possible payment experience
  • Increase revenue and adoption of payment products across Europe
  • Structure, negotiate and manage partner contracts
  • Develop joint go to market plans
  • First point of contact for payment partners both internal and external
  • Responsible for performance management and quarterly business reviews
  • Work closely with country managers, product and marketing to gather feedback and prioritise opportunities

What you'll bring:
  • 4+ years of experience in a commercial client facing role, ideally in account/success management of partners or large customers
  • A strategic thinker with excellent people-, project- and time management skills
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills and data analysis
  • Strong commercial mindset
  • Experienced negotiator & networker
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal), French or German is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • You live near or are willing to relocate to Amsterdam
Our Selection procedure in a nutshell:

  • Then you will have an introductory talk with the hiring manager focused on the team fit and your general knowledge. This round will be conducted via Hangouts. If this round is successful you will have another interview with the hiring manager and a member of the data team to dive deeper into your experience.
  • After that you will receive a take-home assignment which you will present to us on Google Hangouts in the third round.
  • In the third round you will meet the rest of the team and they will challenge you on your approach.
Because of the current circumstances, we will interview you as well as hire you completely remotely. You will start working remotely, but as soon as possible, you will continue your work at our office in the heart of Amsterdam.
