Job Description

Due to continuous expansion of our global operations, we currently seek to hire an experienced Head of Back Office. The selected candidate will be responsible to organize and oversee the daily operations of the department, by managing its procedures and coaching its people.

The area of responsibility for this role is very wide, thus requires thorough knowledge of client funding and account opening best practices.

Job Description:

  • Supervise the global account opening and funding team, regarding the opening of trading accounts quality check, funding process and customer service.
  • Analyze on a constant basis the department activity, payment systems activity, suspicious activity, KYC, AML procedures etc.
  • Implement Operations protocols, productivity, quality and customer-service standards, complete audits and supporting team managers in daily inquires and problems.
  • Liaise with Senior Management team to make decisions for back office operational activities and set strategic goals.
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation within the department
  • Manage the procedure of customers account establishment, maintenance and closures
  • Liaise with other departments to escalate and resolve any issues
  • Monitor and approve correct workflows, improve internal systems, propose new more efficient procedures
  • Assist in the training of relevant staff to ensure continuing competence in accordance with the CySEC, FCA, ASIC, FSCA (South Africa) regulations
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports with the funding activity and make suggestions for new developments to the Senior Management.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration or in any other related field
  •  Previous experience in a similar position
  • Cysec Advanced qualification will be considered an advantage
  • Proven experience in a Managerial position
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek languages
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Advanced Excel skills will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and target oriented
  • Demonstration of willingness to contribute to the business
