Why this role matters
Business Intelligence Analyst turns data into clear, actionable insights and scalable analytical solutions. The role combines dashboard development, reporting automation, semantic-layer thinking, and close collaboration with stakeholders to support accurate, timely decision-making. This role focuses on creating accurate, neat and clear visualizations of corporate data, supported by observations and conclusions.
The role is based in our office in Limassol, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.
What you'll actually do
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions and reporting needs
Define, standardize, and maintain key business metrics and KPIs, ensuring alignment across teams
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities through data analysis and propose actionable solutions
Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making by aligning insights with business goals and priorities
Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to generate reliable and actionable insights
Build, test, and maintain scalable data models and datasets for reporting and self-service analytics
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all analytical outputs and data sources
Develop and validate hypotheses, monitor KPIs, and proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Collaborate with Data Engineering to improve data pipelines, availability, and performance
Design, develop, and maintain intuitive and scalable dashboards (Tableau or similar BI tools)
Translate complex data into clear, structured, and visually compelling insights for diverse audiences
Ensure consistency and usability of reports by following visualization best practices and standards
Automate and optimize reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability
Support business users with reporting tools, ensuring accessibility and correct interpretation of data
Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Mathematical / Software Engineering / Computer Science education. Relevant certifications optional but beneficial: Tableau Certified Data Analyst, Tableau Certified Architect
5+ years of experience in BI (data analysis and visualization, reporting automation) with proven practical experience in full-cycle dashboards development
Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with analytical databases (Vertica, ClickHouse, Trino, Starrocks or similar)
Strong data visualization skills, including proficiency in Tableau Desktop (or other enterprise level BI tool)
Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, metric governance, and self-service analytics principles
Understanding of AI/LLM applications in analytics (e.g., NL-to-SQL, AI-assisted BI)
Solid knowledge of data analysis methods and basic statistics
Effective stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional setups (to understand the needs of stakeholders and manage their expectations, as well as effectively communicate findings and stages of the development cycle in common)
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make reasonable technical decisions on fundamental data analysis methods and data visualization
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to be an expert in the relevant data domain
Excellent English communication skills
