In July 2027, the EU's new anti-money-laundering regulation (AMLR) starts to apply: one directly applicable rulebook replacing today's patchwork of national rules. Every institution in scope has to be able to show that its procedures follow the regulation — documented, running, and provable, down to individual decisions.
